Shingrix
Shingles is a painful, blistering rash caused by the reactivation of the chickenpox virus, most common — and most severe — over 50. The NHS offers it only to certain age groups, so private vaccination is a popular choice for anyone who wants protection sooner. Given as two doses.
Arexvy, Abrysvo
Respiratory syncytial virus causes thousands of hospital admissions in older adults every winter. A single private dose offers protection if you fall outside the NHS eligibility window or don't want to wait.
PCV-20
Protects against 20 strains of pneumococcal bacteria — a leading cause of pneumonia, meningitis and blood infections. A single dose gives broad, long-lasting protection and is a sensible choice for older adults and those with health conditions.
PPV-23
An alternative pneumonia vaccine covering 23 strains, given as a single dose. Our pharmacist will help you decide between PCV-20 and PPV-23 based on your age, health and any previous pneumococcal vaccination.
Varilrix, Varivax
Chickenpox is usually mild in young children but can be nastier the older you get. The vaccine isn't part of the routine NHS schedule, so many families choose it privately — two doses give strong, lasting protection.
Boostrix-IPV
Whooping cough is on the rise and is most dangerous for newborns. A single booster is often chosen by parents, grandparents and anyone who'll be close to a new baby — as well as for some work and travel requirements.
Bexsero
Meningitis B is a rare but devastating infection that can strike quickly, particularly in babies, young children and young adults heading to university. Older children and adults who missed the NHS infant programme can be protected privately with a two-dose course.

Our pharmacist runs through a short suitability check — your age, health, medications and vaccination history — and answers any questions before going ahead.
Your vaccine is given in our private consultation room. You'll get a record of the dose, straightforward aftercare advice, and any follow-up doses booked in.

A pharmacist-administered vitamin B12 injection, following a suitability assessment. Booking is by phone on 01364 652222 or in store — online booking will be available in the future.
People with low B12 or symptoms such as tiredness, low energy, pins and needles or poor concentration; those following vegan or strict vegetarian diets; people who have had weight loss surgery or have absorption problems; and some people on long-term medicines that affect B12 absorption.
It depends on why you’re having it and how you respond. Maintenance injections are commonly given every few months, and our pharmacist will advise on a schedule at your appointment.
Most people have none. The most common are mild and temporary — soreness, redness or slight swelling at the injection site. Less commonly, mild nausea, headache, dizziness or itching. Allergic reactions are rare; seek urgent help if you develop a rash, facial or throat swelling, or difficulty breathing.
