We provide NHS flu and COVID-19 vaccinations to those eligible, and private flu and COVID-19 jabs for anyone who isn’t.
On the NHS
We deliver NHS seasonal flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at our North Street pharmacy for patients who meet the national eligibility criteria. There is no charge, and you don’t need a GP referral.
Eligibility is set by the NHS each season and generally includes people aged 65 and over, adults aged 18–64 with certain long-term health conditions, pregnant women, care home residents, carers, and people living with someone who has a weakened immune system.
Typically people aged 75 and over, those aged 6 months to 74 with a weakened immune system due to a health condition or treatment, and residents of care homes for older adults.
Book through the NHS vaccination booking service. When asked for a site near where you’d like your appointment, enter TQ13 7QD to find us.
The NHS booking service will tell you as you go through it. If you’d rather talk it through first, call us on 01364 652222 and we’ll help you work out which route suits you.
Private options
Not eligible on the NHS, or would simply prefer not to wait? Both vaccines are available privately at our Ashburton branch.
More availability
Vaccination stock and appointment slots vary between branches, especially at the busiest points of the season. If we’re fully booked or waiting on stock, it’s always worth checking with our sister pharmacies — they may be able to see you sooner.
